Overview
Technology Infrastructure has launched a new self-service website to help faculty and staff quickly find, identify, and install LSSC copiers without needing to contact the Help Desk.
The site provides campus maps, copier locations, device names, and simple installation options to make connecting to a copier easier than ever.
This is especially helpful if you return from summer break, move offices, or discover that a copier you previously used has been replaced during the recent Canon copier refresh project.
What You Can Do on the Site
The Copier Installation Website allows you to:
- View copier locations by campus and building
- See the exact name of each copier
- Install copier queues directly from the website
- Access step-by-step installation instructions
- Quickly locate nearby copiers when traveling between campuses
The maps help remove the guesswork of finding a copier and provide an easy way to connect your computer to the correct device.
Canon Follow Me Printing
LSSC also offers Canon Follow Me Printing.
With Follow Me Printing, you can print to a single printer queue and then release your print job at any participating Canon copier using your X-ID badge or credentials at the copier console.
Benefits include:
- Print from anywhere
- Release jobs only when you arrive at the copier
- Improved document security
- Less time spent locating specific printers

When Should I Use This Website?
Use the Copier Installation Website if:
- You need to install a copier on a new computer.
- You moved offices.
- You are working from a different campus.
- A copier was recently replaced.
- Your old copier connection no longer works.
- You need to identify the name or location of a copier.
